Get any box online and reachable — from the browser. Plus important security and stability fixes; updating is strongly recommended.

Connectivity Wizard (new)

A guided flow on the Connectivity page that takes a fresh mini-PC from "just plugged in" to "reachable by TAK clients" without touching a terminal:

  • Detect & recommend — the wizard checks your network (public IP, CGNAT, double-NAT) and points you at the right path.
  • Relay (no client VPN) — one button sets up a relay so friends and clients reach your box from anywhere, the same address on any network. You create a free VPS and upload its key; the console does the rest.
  • DDNS + port-forward — the direct path for a home connection with a real public IP, with a step-by-step guide.
  • WiFi like a phone — scan and join, pre-provision a network you're not on yet (so a portable box joins automatically when it arrives), switch between known networks, and forget old ones.
  • Setup WiFi mode — when a box has no connection, it broadcasts its own WiFi so you can walk up in a new location, join it from a laptop, and pick a network. No screen, no keyboard, no cable.
  • Verify Reachability — proves clients can actually reach every TAK port from the public internet (green/red per port), so you stop guessing.
  • Relay health now shows on the Guard Dog board.

Also in this release

  • Security and stability patches — updating is recommended.
  • TAK Server LDAP login self-heals on a fresh deploy — no more manual "Resync LDAP to TAK Server" after installing a new box.

Upgrade

Applied automatically on the next console update. Healthy boxes are left untouched. Because this release includes security fixes, updating promptly is recommended.
