v0.4.0

Choose a tag to compare

@tapthaker tapthaker released this 23 Feb 16:00

What's Changed

  • Fix type_text reliability: Now accepts optional bundleId parameter to target the foreground app directly, instead of always typing into Springboard (which fails when another app has keyboard focus)

Install

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tapthaker/sim-mcp/main/install.sh | bash

v0.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@tapthaker tapthaker released this 23 Feb 15:46

What's Changed

  • Portability fix: Strip hardcoded Xcode rpath from AgentTest binary
    • Bazel embeds the builder's Xcode path (e.g. /Applications/Xcode-26.2.0.app/...) as an rpath
    • This is now removed at release time; the generic xcode-select symlink rpaths handle any Xcode install location
  • Includes all fixes from v0.2.0 (XCTest agent auto-launch, log truncation)

Install

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tapthaker/sim-mcp/main/install.sh | bash

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@tapthaker tapthaker released this 23 Feb 15:37

What's Changed

  • Fix XCTest agent auto-launch from MCP server
    • Dynamically discovers Xcode path and injects platform framework paths into DYLD_FRAMEWORK_PATH/DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
    • XCTRunner can now find XCTest.framework at runtime
  • Fix agent log file truncation (clean logs per launch)
  • All 18 MCP tools verified working end-to-end

Install

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tapthaker/sim-mcp/main/install.sh | bash
