  • Add performance improvements available to Redis 8.10+ users (replace expensive read_streams Lua script with a single XREADGROUP call with CLAIM and MAXCOUNT args.)
  • Run tests across various Redis versions (matrix currently includes 7.0, 8.0, and 8.10)
  • Refactor Lua to avoid atomic updates of multiple streams which can cause unpredictability together with XREADGROUP COUNT
  • BREAKING: Remove streaq.utils.gather (in anyio >= 4.15.0). This was an internal function but if you were using it in your code, it's now available in anyio itself as anyio.gather.
  • Update ruff to v0.16.0 and adopt new default lint rules
  • Remove Worker.__slots__
