Use every tool from the CLI or MCP

Toolbox 1.1.0 brings the app’s export controls, previews, and saved work to headless workflows.

  • Lockup: name variations, set padding and social exports, and map colors to hex, CMYK, and Pantone values.
  • Palette: supply named colors, sample images at exact points, and export print color values.
  • Specimen: discover installed fonts and define custom type roles and sizes.
  • Convert: inspect encoded file sizes, restore original dimensions, and export files with collision-safe names. SVG imports now decode directly on Linux as well as macOS.
  • All four tools: inspect settings, generate previews, save exports to the library, and list, reopen, or remove saved records.

Run toolbox --list for the command catalog, or connect with toolbox --mcp. The CLI and MCP guide includes examples and every option.

Downloads

Available for macOS and Linux, on Intel/x64 and Apple Silicon/arm64. macOS builds are signed and notarized. Windows builds are discontinued starting with this release.

SHA256SUMS contains checksums for all eight downloads.

Verification

204 unit tests, both golden export fixtures, and 34 real CLI/MCP integration checks passed.
