All the Mods 10 - ProjectE EMC Enabler

Do you love using ProjectE to break the game, but are frustrated by the massive list of incompatible items in All the Mods 10? Look no further!

Modded Minecraft is all about achieving absolute power, but it's pretty hard to build your dream transmutation factory when half the modpack has a big fat 0 next to the EMC line. This repository provides pre-configured and balanced EMC files for ProjectE in All the Mods 10 (ATM10), mapping all the major modded base resources, raw metals, alloys, essences, and decorative blocks so the transmutation engine can finally do its job.

Features

  • Root Resource Mapping: Balanced baseline ingot and ore values for all modded metals (Allthemodium, Vibranium, Unobtainium, Osmium, Uranium, Platinum, Lead, Nickel, Tin, Zinc, Aluminum, Iridium, Steel, Bronze, Brass).
  • Mod Integration: Maps Applied Energistics 2 processors, Mystical Agriculture essences, EnderIO capacitors/chassis, and PneumaticCraft PCBs.
  • Decoration Fixes: Integrates 100% of Rechiseled, 100% of Xtones Reworked, and thousands of Chipped block variants.
  • All the Compressed: Supports all levels (1x to 9x) of compression for blocks.

Installation Guide (CurseForge / Windows)

To install this in your game, follow these beginner-friendly steps:

Step 1: Locate Your Instance Directory

By default, CurseForge installs its modpack files here:

C:\Users\<YourUsername>\curseforge\minecraft\Instances\All the Mods 10 - ATM10\

Tip

Quick Access: The easiest way to find this folder is to open the CurseForge app, go to your Library, right-click the All the Mods 10 modpack, and select Open Folder.

Step 2: Copy the Configuration Files

  1. Download custom_emc.json and mapping.toml from this repository.
  2. Inside your Instance folder, navigate to the config/ProjectE/ directory:
    ...\Instances\All the Mods 10 - ATM10\config\ProjectE\

  3. Paste and overwrite both custom_emc.json and mapping.toml into that directory.

Step 3: Run the Game!

Start the game and load into your world. ProjectE will run its calculations on load, propagating these values through recipes. Hold any modded item in your hand to verify it now has its calculated EMC value!

Note: Since the game loads configs globally, you do not need to place anything inside your world save's serverconfig folder.

How It Works (For Nerds)

If you're wondering how a 7,000-entry JSON file handles a 30,000+ item modpack, it's all about propagation.

Standard ProjectE has a built-in "Recipe Mapper" that automatically solves crafting recipes (e.g., if iron is 256, an iron block is automatically 2,304). However, if a raw ingredient (like Osmium, Certus Quartz, or Mystical Agriculture Essences) has no EMC value, the math breaks and the output item gets 0 EMC.

By manually assigning baseline values to the roots of the modded progression tree, we allow ProjectE to dynamically solve and calculate the EMC for everything made from them!

Balance Table (Reference)

We anchored new base materials to balanced numbers that match vanilla progression:

Material Ingot / Raw EMC Block EMC Nugget EMC
Tin, Zinc, Lead, Aluminum 256 2,304 28
Silver 512 4,608 56
Osmium, Nickel 1,024 9,216 113
Platinum, Uranium, Iridium 4,096 36,864 455
Allthemodium 131,072 1,179,648 14,563
Vibranium 524,288 4,718,592 58,254
Unobtainium 2,097,152 18,874,368 233,016
