Library 0.3.5 is the first public release.
Highlights
- Publish written books with stable ISBNs, preserve revision history, and reissue current copies.
- Search, browse, continue reading, and view recent or popular books.
- Register library buildings from enclosed interior spaces, including spaces behind doors.
- Assign one book to multiple library collections and bind books to individual lecterns.
- Start with SQLite and migrate the complete dataset to MariaDB or PostgreSQL with summary and
SHA-256 verification.
Requirements
- Paper 26.2 build 112
- Minecraft 26.2
- Java 25
- Server-side only; players install nothing
Storage and operation
SQLite is the default and needs no separate database server. MariaDB and PostgreSQL connect only to
the database target configured by the server operator. Paper resolves MariaDB Connector/J 3.5.2 as
a separate runtime library; the first start without a populated Paper cache may need outbound HTTPS
access to a Maven Central-compatible repository.
Library does not create backups. Stop the server normally and back up the configured storage before
upgrading or migrating. Do not use /reload or a plugin hot-reloader. A successful storage
migration keeps writes locked until a normal restart.
Distribution
MariaDB Connector/J is not bundled in the plugin JAR. The archive includes the project license and
the notices and license texts required for bundled components. The build verifies the descriptor,
required notices, MariaDB exclusion, and Paper/Bukkit API exclusion.
