Feature Updates

  • Added targeted in-app announcements with scheduling, localization, audience controls, multiple display formats, and optional resource links.
  • Added read-only record snapshot viewing and filtering to the recycle bin. Business-tier record archives also support longer-term browsing, restore, permanent deletion, and CSV export.
  • Added a more visible quick-open link for published apps, clearer unpublished-change indicators, and improved version history and rollback behavior.
  • Added the folder-id option to create commands so AI actions and automations can place new content in the intended folder.
  • Updated in-app changelog banners for the App Builder visual editing release and GPT 5.6 pricing changes.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Improved computed-field reliability on large and highly connected bases, reducing stalled work, memory pressure, write failures, and 503 errors during formula, lookup, rollup, and linked-record updates.
  • Fixed computed-field write failures involving field-to-field conditional comparisons and field type changes, and improved recomputation across circular dependencies and conditional rollups.
  • Reduced lookup propagation delays for smaller updates and ensured automations run when watched formula fields change, without duplicate triggers or loops.
  • Fixed timezone-related timestamp drift in non-UTC deployments, including scheduled tasks, metadata, audit timestamps, billing cycles, and credit date boundaries.
  • Fixed AI-created nodes being placed outside the source node’s folder.
  • Strengthened sharing and record permissions so disabled table access, limited users, and restricted access tokens cannot modify records or share settings beyond their granted permissions. Share dialogs now explain unavailable actions.
  • Fixed view filters not updating immediately, collaboration inconsistencies, filter deletion errors, crashes caused by incomplete date filters, and compatibility issues with legacy view metadata.
  • Improved view reliability across creation, updates, sharing, imports, duplication, realtime updates, concurrent edits, and shared-view access.
  • Improved audit logs by recording user identity more consistently, including field details in creation events, preserving event times, and reducing missing entries during large bulk operations.
  • Updated AppSumo activation behavior so new activations no longer receive the previous one-time credit bonus. Existing credits remain valid, while refunded or deactivated licenses still lose applicable legacy rewards.
  • Fixed orphaned linked-record fields being impossible to delete after their referenced table was removed.
  • Expanded V2 compatibility across record writes, formulas, lookups, rollups, filters, sorting, grouping, search, aggregation, link validation, recalculation, table lifecycle, duplication, and metadata. Many-to-one lookup results remain arrays in V2.
  • Standardized cleared V2 values such as empty text, unchecked checkboxes, empty selections, attachments, users, and links as null, while reliably enforcing required-field validation.
  • Restored V1-compatible link input handling in V2, allowing single-link fields to accept arrays and multi-link fields to accept single objects.
  • Improved V2 date validation so invalid calendar dates are rejected in strict writes and stored as empty values in typecast writes instead of being silently changed.
  • Fixed text-to-date and formula-to-date conversions so invalid calendar dates no longer block the entire field conversion or expose raw database errors.
  • Fixed rating field conversions producing invalid zero-star values. Decimal values are now rounded, and values below one star become empty.
  • Fixed V2 record updates failing when user fields contained members without custom avatars. Admins can also detect and repair affected legacy users in bulk.
  • Improved record-read consistency and permission enforcement across fields, rows, masked data, filters, sorting, grouping, search, attachments, shared views, and realtime updates.
  • Fixed projected record reads omitting metadata required by grouped personal and grid views.
  • Fixed self-hosted signup so new users reliably join eligible auto-join spaces as Viewers, including when SSO and admin auto-join rules overlap.
  • Improved the unsubscribe page so it remains usable after preferences are saved even if a subsequent refresh fails.
  • Enabled compression for realtime WebSocket traffic, improving large grid loads and record-heavy updates, particularly on slower networks.
  • Fixed automation runs occasionally executing the same action chain twice, preventing duplicate messages, webhooks, and emails.
  • Fixed undo and redo for large V2 record deletions so quickly restoring a deleted selection no longer fails or stalls.
  • Reduced database pressure during large imports and table duplication, improving stability for high-volume operations. Imported or duplicated records no longer create initial empty-to-value history entries.
  • Improved mobile attachment previews with wider content, better spreadsheet scrolling, non-overlapping controls, and correct fitting for rotated images.
  • Improved base loading and navigation by avoiding redundant requests and opening previously visited, pinned, or first-time bases directly when a valid table and view are available.
  • Fixed stale base links causing redirect loops and ensured direct links never expose inaccessible views.
  • Improved localized record validation messages, including clearer required-field and unique-value errors in forms and bulk operations.
  • Removed outdated in-app pricing and FAQ content to prevent obsolete plan and credit information from being shown.
  • Improved AI generation checkpoint reliability during heavy database load.
