fledgling-pro (FastMCP server)

  • MCP Resources — project overview, diagnostics, docs outline, git state available without tool calls
  • Smart Defaults — auto-detects dominant language, doc directory, git branch for default patterns
  • Token-Aware Output — auto-truncation with head/tail display, hints, and bypass when narrowing queries
  • 26 tools auto-generated from SQL macros with proper parameter schemas

Python API

  • fledgling.connect() — 3 modes: init file, auto-discover, SQL sources
  • con.find_definitions("**/*.py").show() — macros as methods returning DuckDBPyRelation
  • from fledgling.tools import find_definitions — module-level lazy API
