This will probably be the last version where I compile for non-last minor versions of Minecraft. It's too much to handle. I wanted to see the workflow and if a 1.17.1 jar was compatible w/ 1.17, which was not probably because of the mixins. I'll still compile for 1.17.1, 1.18.2, and so on.
1.0.1 (1.20.1 only) - Rewind!1111!1!!!
in this release, I start to give a shit about proper versioning and backporting to 1.17.
Most of the changes are simply fine-tuning the mod and changing how commands are registered internally.
New Features:
- SHRINKING: This will remove gaps between the hat layer and regular head layer of a skin by shrinking the hat layer. This allows computer heads to have a screen side and a cover side without a noticeable gap.
- NEW SCREENSHOTS IN THE README: self explanatory, shot in a new modern airport build by alco_rs11. Screenshots captured using BSL/Complementary with Euphoria.
Changes:
- Fix the fucking versioning: Using semver-type versioning instead. Since I don't expect the code to change that much from now on, we are on 1.x.x!
- Change the build script so it spits out jars that show the mod version and Minecraft version it is intended for.
- Read the fabric wiki: Now I don't need to copy paste mojang code into my application for mixins, I can use a simple redirect or whatever it was called for an "anonymous" lambda
- With that being said, I also reduced the amount of mojang code I had to copy or rewrite for some mixins.
- Run intellij code formatting on everything
- Rewrite how commands are registered: each interface has a method that I can call in the main headclient class to register the command, so the code looks less bloated.
- Add some error catching for decompiling player heads
7.4 not many changes
1.20.1 jars for now, you can compile for older versions or wait for them to come (very busy)
no new changes since old repo got nuked, just check the readme
