Fourteen fixes landed since 7.0.1. Highlights:

  • Cell functions and formatters run once per render instead of twice — no more doubled side effects or measurement/print disagreement (#123)
  • Bad input throws instead of process.exit(); Table([],[]), unknown borderStyle, falsy cells, oversized truncate markers, string headers and ~125k-row argument limits all fixed (#113–#118)
  • Column-width cache is per table instance (WeakMap) — no cross-bundle corruption, no unbounded memory; repeated renders no longer grow column bookkeeping (#119, #124)
  • Config no longer sits on every table under a key literally named "undefined" (#120); the CLI explains bad input (#121)
  • Published Options/Header types are derived from the real ones — typed options, numeric border aliases, alias-only headers all typecheck (#125)
  • Faster: per-column shared option bases and an ASCII fast path for displayWidth (#111, #112); lint passes and runs in CI (#122)
