ShellCanvas v0.1.8
ShellCanvas can now browse compatible Linux hosts with SFTP disabled. It automatically detects the available SSH shell commands and enables browsing, individual-file uploads/downloads, file copy and read-only text preview where supported.
Uploads preserve existing destinations and clean up canceled temporary files. If the account blocks both SFTP and compatible shell commands, ShellCanvas reports the restriction while keeping terminal access independent.
Compatibility limits
Shell mode does not support editing, rename/delete/move, folder creation or transfers, or local drive attachment. It requires permitted POSIX shell commands and compatible utilities; downloads also require Linux file-descriptor metadata. Nothing is installed on the remote host, and account restrictions are respected. Manual verification on the reported restricted Linux host remains pending.
Downloads
Windows x64: choose the EXE installer or MSI package. Existing installations can use the in-app updater. SHA-256 checksums and updater signatures are included.
See the filesystem documentation for command requirements and a manual test checklist.
