ShellCanvas 0.1.9 adds a safe read-only file browser fallback for MikroTik RouterOS 6 devices whose accounts cannot use SFTP. It also recovers the terminal when an appliance closes SSH while rejecting the SFTP subsystem, reconnecting only with the already verified host key and current trust approval.
The RouterOS fallback exposes metadata and folder navigation only. File contents, previews, transfers, editing, management and local drive attachment require a working file service. With SFTP permitted, the existing full file manager remains available. Remote Settings remains Linux-only.
Verified against RouterOS 6.49.19 with SFTP denied and permitted. The denied configuration provided read-only metadata browsing; the permitted configuration provided the existing full SFTP file manager.
