WMAI (Windows Mobile AI): a self-contained AI agent for Windows Mobile 5/6 Pocket PCs.

  • WMAI-0.7.2-sdcard.zip: copy the contents of its Storage Card folder to the root of the phone's storage card, add your API key to WMAI\WMAI.config (start from WMAI.config.example), run WMAI\WMAI.exe. Full steps: INSTALL.txt in the zip.
  • pocketgcc-wmai-src-0.7.2.zip: complete source of the PocketGCC tools in the kit (GPL): PocketGCC's source tree with the WMAI --stdout/--stderr patch applied.

Requires a Windows Mobile 5/6 Pocket PC (ARM) with .NET Compact Framework 3.5, internet on the phone (Wi-Fi, GPRS/3G, Bluetooth PAN or USB pass-through) and an OpenAI-compatible API key (default: DeepSeek deepseek-flash, which also handles images).

What it does: the phone talks to the model API itself (TLS 1.2 built in, no PC or proxy). The agent uses the device through 26 tools (files, registry, processes, contacts, SMS, calls), searches and reads the web, sees the screen, and writes, compiles and runs native C++ apps on the device with PocketGCC.

Tested on a Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone Edition; reports from other devices are welcome as issues.
