Major release of CCMM version 2.0.0, released on 1st October 2026

Major changes in this version:

  • profiling properties through DCAT-AP (instead of final resources)
  • respecting cardinalities of DCAT-AP
  • dividing subjects to subjects (from controlled vocabulary) and keyword (plain string)
  • reprofiling of distributions according to the DCAT-AP
  • attaching licenses and access rights directly to specific classes (and removing terms of use class)
  • changed relationship to attribution (between resource and agent)
  • creator role is mandatory, publisher role is highly recommended and attributed to the organization, if possible
  • new language properties for primary/other language
  • namespaces changed to version 2.0
  • repository has mandatory attribution with publisher role
  • origin of the dataset is described by provenance activity
  • datacite was reprofiled to official datacite linked data representation
  • pofile represented also with JSON schema and JSON-LD contexts
  • added abstract and introduction into the specification
  • added identifier scheme notation
  • codelist values with skos:prefLabel
  • classes are grouped and ordered into main and supportive
