CutNesting Benchmark Dataset v1.1.0
Adds the initial public 2D nesting benchmark suite: five deterministic synthetic cases covering exact fit, realistic steel plate and wood sheet layouts, irregular remnant geometry with a void, and finite-stock exhaustion. Includes the 2D methodology and JSON schemas. Geometric utilization and estimated unused area are reported separately from manufacturing waste. The immutable 1D v1 inputs, DXF/NC1 samples, and templates remain included and unchanged.
CutNesting 1D Reference Results — Dataset v1.0.1
First public CutNesting production-engine reference run. All 13 synthetic cases were run from clean engine and dataset commits with 3 warmups and 30 measured native-Rust solver calls per case. The JSON contains full plans, raw timings, validation results, input hashes, commits, and machine metadata; the CSV is the compact per-case summary. This is not a competitor comparison and browser/WASM runtime is not claimed.

Corrected cross-platform release of the first public CutNesting benchmark dataset. Includes 13 synthetic 1D cases, methodology v1, JSON schemas, eight synthetic DXF/NC1 fixtures, generated CSV/XLSX templates, and SHA-256 checksums. v1.0.1 enforces LF bytes for checksummed text assets so clean Windows, macOS, and Linux checkouts reproduce the same manifest. Benchmark case semantics are unchanged from v1.0.0. Use this tag for reference-engine results.
