CleanGeek 1.0.1 adds the two buttons every other TechyGeeksHome tool has.

Added

  • About - what the app is, its version, the licence, the credits, and the rest of the range.
  • Check for updates - asks GitHub whether there is a newer release. It runs only when you press it.

Both sit at the foot of the sidebar. The sidebar promise now reads "Nothing leaves this PC, apart from Check for updates", because that is now the literal truth: one unauthenticated GET to GitHub's releases API, no identifiers, no usage data, and nothing downloaded or installed.

Downloads

  • CleanGeekSetup.exe - installer
  • CleanGeek-portable.exe - single file, no install
  • SHA256SUMS.txt - checksums for both

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Nothing else needs installing.
