First public release.
ReelGeek turns a folder of photos into a vertical edit. Cuts land on a tempo grid, the camera moves on every shot, and the transitions are the ones short-form editors actually use. Output is 1080x1920 H.264 MP4, which uploads as-is to TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Download
ReelGeekSetup.exe, Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Python and ffmpeg are both inside the installer, so there is nothing to install first.
What is in it
- Five styles: Hype, Clean, Soft, VHS and Luxe, each with its own rhythm, transitions and grade
- Cuts locked to a tempo grid, so a track at a matching BPM lines up
- Real camera moves on every shot, including whip pans with directional motion blur
- Re-roll for a completely new edit from the same photos
- Quick preview, so you can judge the rhythm in seconds
- Hook and end card text, six colours
- An optional synthesised scratch beat for checking timing
- About, Support and Check for updates, matching the rest of the range
What it will not do
No account, no upload, no telemetry, no watermark, no export limit, nothing bundled. Your photos and your renders never leave your PC. The only outbound request the app makes is the update check, and only when you press the button.
Notes
Not code-signed, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning on first run. Click More info, then Run anyway.
