What's New & Changed in v1.0.1

  • Updated Application Header:

    • Main window header ribbon updated to IPTrace-IP Threat Analyzer for clear product identification.
    • Platform string simplified in report headers and UI to Windows 10/11 x64.

  • Enhanced PDF & Print Incident Reporting:

    • Visible IPTrace Logo in Printouts: Fixed print stylesheet rules (print-color-adjust: exact) and embedded image rendering to guarantee the official IPTrace logo and Tekzilver branding print with 100% crisp fidelity on physical printers and "Save to PDF" output.
    • Timestamped Default File Names: Saving/printing now defaults automatically to IPTrace-Report_<Timestamp> (e.g. IPTrace-Report_20260829_132500.pdf / .csv / .json), with full support for user customization.
    • Investigator Write-In Space: Under the INVESTIGATOR heading, generic placeholder text has been replaced with a dedicated write-in field so analysts can input or write their own name/badge credentials.
    • Case Reference Write-In Space: Under the CASE REFERENCE: heading, generic incident text has been replaced with a dedicated write-in space for custom incident ticket and dossier numbers.

  • Universal Export Enhancements:

    • Standardized all CSV, JSON, and Blocklist file export routines to use the IPTrace-Report_<timestamp> naming convention.

Windows Defender Firewall Notice (First Run)

When launching IPTrace on Windows for the first time:

  1. Check the box for "Private networks, such as my home or work network".
  2. Click "Allow access".
    (Required for IPTrace's local web-UI service on localhost:3000 and outbound TLS threat feed queries).
