opencode-claude 0.2.0-dev.4 (experimental)

Readable native-agent progress: raw tool identifiers are replaced with phases such as Opening a page, Checking the page and Updating files. Consecutive operations are grouped; summaries count observed operations rather than successful file changes.

OpenCode continues to execute tools under its own permissions. Native approval details retain exact action identifiers. Existing text and cached replies remain intact. This is a text-progress improvement; generic Claude-native tool cards require a separate client integration and are not implemented here.

Validation: strict build/lint, 52 tests, local native tool/permission/form/cancellation/wait checks and the real installed Claude Code fixture pass. Grouped progress preserves event deduplication and cached replay without another native prompt. Full Desktop Chat/Code UI verification remains separate.

opencode-claude 0.2.0-dev.3 (experimental)

Fix the five-minute interruption of long native agent tasks. The gateway now renews only its read-only SDK wait request, without resending prompts, repeating tool actions, or granting permissions.

Expired native approval/form replies are detected before submission. Protected-failure diagnostics include the native session ID, and HTTP 409 conflicts carry the non-retryable header. Windows Desktop 3.1623.0.0's profile schema is now recognized.

Validation: 46 tests, native tool/permission/form/cancellation/lifecycle checks and real Claude Code fixture pass. A real 310-second local native task completed with one file write while a parallel unmodified wait reproduced UND_ERR_HEADERS_TIMEOUT at five minutes. Full Desktop Chat/Code UI checks remain separate.

Stop the gateway before upgrading. Original interrupted tasks remain protected and their files/history are preserved. Start a new frontend chat for new work; inspect existing native history before continuing an interrupted task. Reply to live OpenCode permission codes in the chat, not through Claude's /permissions dialog.

Experimental release for genuine local OpenCode agent sessions through Claude Code and Claude Desktop.

Fixes Desktop token-budget validation and compatibility routes. Adds durable completed-conversation recovery, protected interrupted tasks, and stable gateway addresses.

Requires Node 24 LTS and OpenCode 2.0.32. Use your own eligible OpenCode providers/models. No npm publication or automatic model fallback.

Validation: 41 unit tests, native runtime/tool/permission/cancellation checks, real Claude Code fixture, and an installed live DeepSeek restart/continuation check passed on Windows. Actual Desktop Chat and Code UI verification remains pending.

Upgrade from older builds: stop the gateway, reinstall, relaunch clients, and start a new frontend conversation once. Original native histories remain in OpenCode.
