🚀 New Release: v4.5.0
Parent access without admin rights
You can now give a second parent day-to-day control of TaskMate without making them a Home Assistant admin.
What's new
In Settings → Parents (no admin rights), tick any existing non-admin Home Assistant user. They can then, straight from the cards:
They still cannot open the admin panel or change any configuration — that stays admin-only — and every parent action is recorded in the audit log.
Why
Perfect for a partner who runs the daily routine but shouldn't hold full Home Assistant admin rights.
How to set it up
Fully translated (en, en-GB, de, fr, nb, nn, pt, pt-BR). Verified end-to-end on a live Home Assistant instance.
Fixes #661 — #662.
Upgrading
Update via HACS or by downloading the latest release and copying to
/config/custom_components/taskmate/.After updating, restart Home Assistant. Lovelace resources will update automatically on restart.
