Maintenance and hardening release. No new features and no UI or data changes — this tightens internal consistency and input handling across the integration, and is recommended for all users.

Improvements

  • More consistent permission handling across TaskMate’s entities, service calls and notification actions, so every path enforces the same parent/child access rules as the admin panel.
  • Added validation and normalisation when restoring a backup, and firmed up a couple of the integration’s HTTP endpoints.
  • Evidence photos are now scoped to the requesting user.
  • Small robustness fixes to the calendar feed, timed-task daily limits, and request rate limiting.

Upgrading
No action required. Update via HACS and restart Home Assistant — your settings, children, chores and points are unchanged.
