Release list
v0.1.0
First public release.
tsp records which stages produced which artifacts, whether that record still
holds, and what a given experiment changed. It does not move your data — Git LFS
does that, for every git client rather than only for this one.
Staleness is a git tree lookup: tsp.lock records the object id of each
dependency, so deciding whether a stage is out of date costs the same whatever
the file weighs. Parameters are recorded per key, so retuning one model does not
stale the two beside it that share a params.yaml.
Install
cargo install tsp-cli # the binary is `tsp`The crate is tsp-cli because tsp on crates.io belongs to an unrelated 2017
package. Prebuilt binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows are attached below, with
SHA256SUMS to verify them. Needs git and git-lfs on PATH, and Rust 1.88+
to build from source.

Versioned 0.x deliberately
The tool works and is tested — 186 tests, including an end-to-end suite that
drives real git and git-lfs. But tsp.yaml and tsp.lock are read by a
second implementation and the two are still settling, so expect breaking changes
while 0.x lasts. Format changes bump the schema, so a file written by another
version is detected rather than misread.
The CHANGELOG
lists what shipped, including six cases where an earlier build reported a stage
current when nothing had run — the one answer this tool exists not to give.
