Tabibe 1.5.0

A personal new-tab workspace with a redesigned notes library, quick capture and browser-default search.

What changed

• Capture a note from the footer or with Alt+Shift+N, then organize it in the notes library using notebooks, tags, text search, pins and archive views.
• Preview Markdown, see local save status and use recovery options when a note cannot be saved.
• Search through Chrome’s default provider with Chrome Search API. Alternative providers remain an explicit choice; older unversioned Tabibe preferences move once to browser default.
• Use the interface and bundled offline privacy policy in 13 languages, including new French, German and Italian translations.
• Updated keyboard/RTL controls, appearance settings, local data and backup disclosures, and release archive verification.
• Refreshed the English website and Turkish website with actual screenshots, release downloads and installation instructions.
• Updated the development toolchain to clear all known npm audit findings. Development requires Node.js 22.19+.

Install from this release

1. Download tabibe-v1.5.0.zip below and extract it into a folder you will keep.
2. Open chrome://extensions and enable Developer mode.
3. Click Load unpacked, select the folder containing manifest.json, then open a new tab.

For an existing unpacked installation, export a backup first, replace the files in the same extension folder and use Reload. Keep the folder location unchanged.

Assets: the extension ZIP is the installable package; tabibe-v1.5.0-source.zip contains matching source; SHA256SUMS.txt provides verification hashes.

This release is distributed through GitHub. A Chrome Web Store listing is not available yet. Workspace data stays in the local browser profile; Tabibe does not encrypt local storage or exported JSON files and cannot recover them remotely. See the Privacy Policy and full changelog.

Tabibe 1.5.0; yenilenen Not Kütüphanesi, Hızlı Yakalama, defterler/etiketler, yerel kayıt ve kurtarma durumları, tarayıcı varsayılanıyla arama ve 13 dil desteği sunar. İngilizce/Türkçe GitHub Pages sitesi gerçek ekran görüntüleri, sürüm indirmeleri ve kurulum adımlarıyla güncellendi. Geliştirme araç zincirindeki bilinen npm güvenlik bildirimleri kapatıldı.

Kurulum: tabibe-v1.5.0.zip dosyasını indirip çıkartın. chrome://extensions sayfasında Geliştirici modu seçeneğini açın ve Paketlenmemiş öğe yükle ile içinde manifest.json bulunan klasörü seçin. Güncellemeden önce yedek alın; mevcut klasörü koruyup dosyaları değiştirin ve Yeniden yükle düğmesine basın.

Bu sürüm GitHub üzerinden dağıtılır; Chrome Web Mağazası listelemesi henüz yoktur. Yerel depolama ve JSON yedekleri Tabibe tarafından şifrelenmez; geliştirici yerel verilerinizi uzaktan kurtaramaz. Gizlilik Politikası ve Türkçe değişiklik günlüğü.
