v1.7.3 (2026-10-08)

Added

  • Network proxy management: proxies are configured once in Settings as standalone entries, and hosts or batch edits reference a configured proxy instead of embedding their own — a proxy that is still referenced cannot be deleted. Existing local and cloud snapshots migrate automatically, and proxies sync with encrypted passwords while the sync format stays compatible with clients on older versions.
  • Telnet automatic authentication, sharing the same shell I/O path as terminals and global AI.
  • Re-authorize button for NextTerminal credentials; cancelling authorization now closes the callback service instead of leaving it running.

Fixed

  • Cloud sync snapshots use a backward-compatible dual-write format, so clients on the previous version no longer overwrite each other's proxy data.
  • AI context compression: corrected the retained-range estimate and added a budget check after compression.
  • AI foreground file operations, with SFTP file access moved into the SDK.
  • SSH sessions now carry the restricted-shell marker, so AI tool routing no longer selects tools the session cannot use.
  • Update flow: after an update package finished downloading, checking for the latest version again could stall.

Changed

  • AI approval policy rebalanced: routine daily operations prompt less, Balanced mode adds backend fallbacks for irreversible data deletion, credential writes, and shutdown or reboot, and Strict mode can no longer be bypassed through command memory. The manual approval bar in global AI keeps a consistent width, with review-context caching and usage statistics optimized.
  • Encrypted private keys can be saved without their passphrase; actions that need a public key show a disabled state with an explanation, and save-time validation is unified.
  • AI context defaults to one million tokens, with an updated description and model placeholder.
  • Callers can define the full AI prompt and tool descriptions; the built-in default rules were slimmed accordingly.
  • Restricted Shell AI reworked into a persistent read/write tool, replacing the previous adapter, and the RouterOS example was removed from the restricted-shell description.
  • Code snippet groups are collapsed by default (search still expands them), with grouping and ordering aligned to the management page and unified terminal toolbar styling and list spacing.
