What's New

System Monitor and Diagnostics

  • Process Manager is now System Monitor, with Process, Memory, and Health tabs.
  • Crash and freeze diagnostics retain recent terminal and renderer events, including evidence from an unclean restart.
  • Exported support reports include diagnostic evidence and indicate when a report was truncated.

Call Graphs and Code Analysis

  • Expand a call-graph node to find more callees through the language server. Static and LSP relationships have distinct line styles.
  • The callers API can look up additional project callers on demand. Static results remain available when the language server is unavailable.
  • Call graphs show progress during expansion and avoid repeating a completed lookup.
  • Fixed false self-calls, incorrect source lines, and relationships between symbols with the same name.
  • Improved Go, C++, and Rust symbol handling, and indexing of source files inside nested build, dist, and similar folders.

Terminals and Remote Sessions

  • Rename terminal sessions through the CLI or HTTP API using the same name rules as the UI.
  • Custom SSH tab names persist across app restarts.
  • Claude Code sessions launched by Termdock can use their terminal tab names. Agent name detection on existing tabs depends on platform support.
  • Improved terminal snapshot and shutdown handling, along with restoration of SSH tabs.
  • When WebGL recovery fails, the terminal keeps its fallback display and makes bounded recovery attempts after output settles.

Agent Workflows and Automation

  • External monitors can send structured callbacks to a specific AgentSession through the CLI or HTTP API.
  • Ending, restarting, or timing out an agent session cancels input already in progress.
  • The CLI now covers more existing API operations, including workspaces, input, status, logs, ports, and layouts.
  • Keep-alive rules can be listed, changed, and removed through the CLI or HTTP API. Scheduled input backs off when the user has unfinished terminal input.
  • Termdock attempts to prepare Codex project trust before launching a Codex session to reduce first-run prompts.

Files, Git, and Keyboard

  • Dialogs, file views, Git controls, and tabs use more consistent keyboard shortcut and focus rules.
  • Git status and diff handling now supports filenames containing special characters.
  • Call-graph interactions and modal shortcuts are more predictable while other views are open.

Reliability and Packaging

  • Historical model prices remain available when a refreshed pricing snapshot no longer contains those models.
  • Native modules are built and checked for the architecture being packaged.
  • Fixed a macOS 27 issue that prevented the Rust AST native module from loading.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the installer for your platform.
  2. On macOS, open the DMG and drag Termdock into Applications.
  3. If macOS blocks the first launch, allow Termdock in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
