What's New
Phone and Browser Access
- Open your desktop terminals from a phone or another browser on the same network. Turn on browser access in Peer Sessions and pair; no domain or certificate setup is needed.
- A paired browser sees every local workspace and lands on the terminal the desktop is showing.
- Your phone remembers the last terminal you used and returns to it after a reload or reconnect.
- Choose the network address, including Tailscale or ZeroTier, and pin a port so paired phones keep working after the desktop restarts.
- Paired browsers can be revoked one by one from the desktop.
Remote Sessions
- Only one side can type into a peer terminal at a time. The host can take over and hand it back.
- When a remote device disconnects, the terminals it started keep running according to the retention setting and can be reattached later.
- Mounted remote workspaces show files and Git status (read-only).
- The Peer Sessions dialog uses two columns on wide windows.
Schedules and Automation
- Cron and one-time schedules create a terminal and send a prompt when due.
- A schedule can run a check command first and skip the run, with the reason recorded, when the check fails.
- Keep-alive can reference the Prompt Library, and every trigger result is kept in the run history.
- Foreground workflows send a sequence of prompts, advancing as the agent finishes each one.
- Webhook URLs deliver messages to a named tab in a chosen workspace. The URL is shown once when created and can be revoked in Settings.
Browser Panel
- Open web pages next to your terminals, including inside split panes.
- Preview local HTML files directly.
- Public pages in the panel cannot send background requests to addresses such as localhost, 127.0.0.1, or LAN IPs.
Terminals and Performance
- Fullscreen Claude Code and codex no longer queue up and stutter during heavy redraws.
- Typing echo skips one layer of waiting.
- Mouse wheel and clicks reach programs that use legacy mouse encoding.
- Renaming a tab from the CLI, API, or tools updates the tab label on screen.
- Quickly opening and closing tabs in an inactive workspace no longer leaves extra tabs behind.
Monitoring and Reliability
- System Monitor groups memory by workspace and shows recent trends.
- Schedule history keeps a single outcome per run even when saving schedule state fails before a restart.
Notes
- Browser access uses HTTP. Use it only on networks you trust. Access from outside your network requires Tailscale or a similar network that you set up yourself.
Installation Instructions
- Download the installer for your platform.
- On macOS, open the DMG and drag Termdock into Applications.
- If macOS blocks the first launch, allow Termdock in System Settings under Privacy & Security.
