Explore Better v0.2.3

This release replaces the Explore Better identity everywhere it appears with the supplied Racing Sans One EB mark.

What changed

  • Rebuilt the Windows application, installer, desktop and Start Menu shortcuts, taskbar/window icon, and AI Bridge tray icon from one canonical SVG.
  • Replaced the active website, favicon, in-app, MCPB, legacy-page, demo, poster, and product-screenshot branding.
  • Re-recorded the real product walkthrough and Codex handoff, then retimed the final edit around the new capture.
  • Added an automated 19-point brand audit and wired it into Windows CI and release packaging so stale logo assets cannot silently return.

Verification

  • Installer and unpacked application icons were extracted from their binaries and visually checked.
  • Canonical app icons inside the packaged resources, Electron archive, website, and MCPB were hash-verified.
  • Release readiness, update-feed, signing rehearsal, privacy, packaged-terminal, MCPB, UI, discovery, and release-integrity checks passed locally.

Windows trust note

The binaries remain unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may show Unknown publisher on first launch. The SHA-256 files attached to this release can be used to verify downloads.
