Explore Better v0.2.5

A reliability release for the Windows default-app and protected transfer paths.

Fixed

  • Explore Better remains the folder and drive default and now launches its installed desktop executable directly—without a PowerShell terminal flash.
  • Quick Paste and Send To now carry the current preview digest and one-use apply token through the existing safety boundary.
  • Packaged Start Menu, Desktop, and Win+E launchers retain the installed executable even with an older saved launch preference.

Also included

  • Semantic MCP actions and waiting, 43 controlled views, Devices dashboard, Health and diagnostics, support bundles, operation timelines, compact Navigator and top bar, Preferences search and scoped resets, and foreground-first scheduling.

Verification

  • 131/131 full acceptance groups passed.
  • 43/43 MCP views, 15/15 default-app UI checks, 19/19 dual-pane transfer-safety checks, and 12/12 current-user shell checks.
  • Warm MCP p95: 0.8 ms; semantic view p95: 145.1 ms; 100K-item first paint: 125.3 ms with 47 rendered rows.
