/arckit:solution-design command with the SOLN doc-type (OpenSpec solution-design-uml-plugin). Generates a governed UML 2.5.1 solution design document — a multi-instance ARC-NNN-SOLN-vN.N.md artefact combining narrative Design Rationale, a BR/FR/NFR/INT/DR → design-element Requirements Traceability table, and six embedded PlantUML diagram views (Use Case, Sequence, Component, Deployment, Class, Object). Requirements are mandatory (the command stops and suggests /arckit:requirements when the REQ artefact is absent); STKE, PRIN, ADR, DATA, SOBC and RSCH are recommended/optional inputs. A single interactive configuration round (diagram subset + PlantUML style) supports a sequence,class-style subset argument, and unselected diagram types are kept as placeholders so a later re-run fills them in without regenerating populated sections. PlantUML is the sole notation — Mermaid is not offered because it has no object-diagram grammar or first-class UML use-case/component references. Optional companion ARC-NNN-DIAG-NNN-v1.0.md sidecars under projects/NNN/diagrams/ are generated when a single diagram type is selected or explicitly requested, via generate-document-id.sh --next-num.
SOLN doc-type registration (multi-instance): added to DOC_TYPES + MULTI_INSTANCE_TYPES in config/doc-types.mjs and to the MULTI_INSTANCE_TYPES lists in both scripts/bash/generate-document-id.sh copies; pages.md known-artifact-types gains the ARC-*-SOLN-*.md row.
PlantUML object-diagram reference: new skills/plantuml-syntax/references/object-diagrams.md (declarations, attribute state, stereotypes, link types, grouping, gotchas) and an Object Diagram row in the plantuml-syntax SKILL.md table; the Use Case, Sequence, Class, Component and Deployment rows now cite /arckit:solution-design.
Solution design guide: docs/guides/solution-design.md (+ byte-identical plugin-tree copy), the docs/guides.html site entry, and the guide-groups.mjs Architecture/experimental entry.
solution-design-template.md: Overview, Revision History, the six plantuml-fenced diagram sections (each with a "View this diagram" callout), Requirements Traceability, Design Rationale, Summary, and External References (Document Register / Citations / Unreferenced Documents) — dual-tree copies in plugins/arckit-claude/templates/ and .arckit/templates/.

DIAG sidecar generator invocation in solution-design.md now uses ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/bash/generate-document-id.sh with the correct PROJECT_ID DOC_TYPE --next-num DIR argument order (was a workspace-rooted .arckit/ path with transposed arguments), matching the archimate/bmm convention.
