Ramorie 0.5.11
Ramorie 0.5.11 makes application updates substantially smaller by keeping the local embedding model outside the app bundle.
- Existing installations reuse their verified local model; it is no longer downloaded with every app update.
- New installations download the model once, with progress and retry support.
- The existing signed DMG update flow remains supported.
- Local memories, projects, settings, and the model store are preserved.
This release optimizes the full application package; delta updates are not enabled yet.

Existing local data is retained by the update. If your AI agent already has an MCP process running, restart that agent session to load the bundled CLI update.
Ramorie 0.5.9 — Task, memory and desktop reliability
Ramorie 0.5.9 improves task tracking, memory workflows, and desktop reliability.
- Preview Kanban cards without opening their details, with clearer progress and pending status changes.
- Preserve task, memory, and profile edits during background refreshes, and make saving and AI-operation feedback clearer.
- Follow auto-collapse through theme review and Jobs, with more readable job results.
- Improve local connection recovery without signing desktop users out.
- Improve AI provider connection-test messages and prevent failed tests from being treated as successful.
- Harden agent configuration repair, Git workflows, backup recovery, and local credential handling.
- Harden native JavaScript result handling during local credential updates.
- Prevent stale health checks and overlapping restarts or shutdowns from reporting incorrect service state.
Existing free functionality remains available. This release does not enable paid licensing gates.
Validation included task and memory preservation when upgrading a disposable database from the published 0.5.8 backend.

Ramorie 0.5.8 — Desktop fixes & update notifications
Task status updates now appear immediately, and Ramorie makes new releases easier to discover.
- Fixed stale task lists after changing a task's status, including after reloading the app.
- Added a persistent, non-dismissible update notice in the bottom-right corner. Its button opens Ramorie's native Software Update window.
- Settings → About now shows the installed version, latest published version, last check time, and update status.
- Added hourly background update checks and a menu-bar update indicator.
- Update notices survive reloads and temporary connection failures.
- Edit your name and optional email in General Settings or first-run setup, with no email verification required. Your workspace stays attached to the same local profile.
- Fixed a startup freeze when macOS Keychain access is delayed after updating the app.
- Agent repair now uses backups and atomic configuration writes, preserves unrelated settings, and leaves files untouched when they are already correct.
Install this version to receive the new in-app notifications for future releases. Existing installations can use Ramorie → Check for Updates.

Fixes
- Fixed project-less MCP memory saves returning an empty response after successfully saving. Personal memories now return valid JSON, preventing unnecessary retries.
- Fixed long Settings navigation labels overflowing the sidebar. Labels wrap when needed, and narrow windows use a horizontally scrollable menu.
Validation
- Verified project-less MCP saves return HTTP 201 with a JSON body and no backend panic.
- Checked Settings in English and Turkish across six window widths and two text sizes.
Download Ramorie.dmg, or choose Check for Updates… in Ramorie. The companion Ramorie.dmg.sig is used by the built-in updater to verify the download.

What’s new
- Rebuilt Memory Chat for reliable natural-language recall across your memories, with provider-agnostic streaming, response parsing, bounded fallback, and optional full-memory drill-down.
- Refined Fast, Auto, and Research answer-depth modes with clearer explanations and a compact, responsive composer.
- Added workspace context controls, recent-project chips, an improved model picker, collapsible chat history, double-click rename, readable source details, and working chat font scaling.
- Added provider subscription usage for Codex, Claude, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, and other capability-verified providers through the embedded native provider engine.
- Added a dedicated provider management page with explicit authorization, per-provider visibility controls, retry states, and menu-bar controls.
- Restored compact colored quota meters in the header. Providers without a verified usable quota are no longer shown or counted in the compact widget.
- Redesigned the native macOS menu-bar quota experience. The panel now grows with its content up to the available screen height and scrolls instead of overlapping actions.
Update compatibility
This is a bridge release for existing v0.5.4 installations. It keeps the signed legacy DMG update path and bundles the local embedding model once more so current installations can update directly without losing local-memory functionality.
The DMG is protected by Ramorie’s detached Ed25519 updater signature. This build is not Developer ID notarized, so a fresh manual download may require macOS System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. In-app updates verify the signed artifact before installation.
