This maintenance release includes all previously integrated branch work and the
CI hardening from PR #52. Folder Bridge continues making major improvements
across the board; the runtime improvements are those shipped in 2.15.3.
There are no additional plugin behavior or dependency changes in 2.15.4.

Changed

  • Pull-request, main-branch, and release workflows now use the same npm run validate gate: lint, UI text checks, TypeScript checking, production build, and tests.
  • Release builds now require lint and UI text checks; pull-request builds now include UI text checks and avoid redundant TypeScript checking.
  • Existing tag/version matching, release-note extraction, asset checks, and stable/prerelease handling are unchanged.

Validation And Known Limitations

  • The inherited automated suite contains 400 tests across 13 files. Release publication requires the complete validation gate to pass.
  • Native Windows/WSL, macOS, Android, and current/oldest Obsidian host checks remain pending. This maintenance release does not establish native editor, Outline, metadata, or save compatibility, and does not resolve the remaining suppression-policy or plugin-directory review issues.
  • Back up your vault, settings, and mounted source folders; test writes on disposable copies. Install main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css from this release together. See the 2.15.3 notes and docs/RELEASE_VALIDATION.md for outstanding checks.
