Fixed

  • Codex: thinking blocks now surface in the bridge stream. The Codex adapter already mapped reasoning items to thinking block events, but codex exec --json only emits those items when model_reasoning_summary is detailed/concise — the CLI default auto suppresses them in exec/json mode (verified even at model_reasoning_effort=high with hundreds of reasoning tokens). The adapter now passes -c model_reasoning_summary=detailed, applied to both new and resumed sessions. (#20)

Docs

  • Gemini: documented why this provider emits no thinking blocks. The Gemini CLI's --output-format stream-json event schema has no thought event type, and the non-interactive code path drops GeminiEventType.Thought events before the formatter. ui.inlineThinkingMode is interactive-TUI-only. Capturing Gemini thinking would need an upstream CLI change or an ACP-interface rewrite. The limitation is now recorded in the gemini.ts header with upstream sources so it isn't re-investigated as a bridge bug. (#20)
