Play tracks without adding to playlist?

Thanks for your quick help. Is there any way to play tracks without adding them to a playlist? Alternatively, can I have one playlist that auto-adds all tracks from my watched folders?

Also - it would be helpful if adding to a playlist deduped automatically, so that I did not end up with duplicate songs. De-duplication should probably happen by folder structure rather than song title, so that if the same song appears in two different albums it does not get de-duped, destroying integrity of the second album.

None of these things are currently possible, and I'm not working on new features (or on maintaining).
