The Visual Studio VSIX manifest keeps the committed version (VSIX manifests reject prerelease strings), so Visual Studio shows the same version as the last tagged build: uninstall the existing DataGuard extension before installing a nightly. The VS Code package version is 0.3.0-nightly.20261003.25.

Install

• CLI: unzip, then add the folder to PATH or point the IDE setting dataguard.cliPath / the Visual Studio custom CLI path at the absolute path of dataguard (dataguard.exe on Windows).
• VS Code: code --install-extension dataguard-vscode-0.3.0-nightly.20261003.25.vsix --force (or Extensions view → ... → Install from VSIX).
• Visual Studio: double-click DataGuard.VisualStudio-0.3.0-nightly.20261003.25.vsix (VSIXInstaller) and restart Visual Studio.
