Features

Support local folders and generic Git transport (#1246)

Local runs accept --cwd and folders without Git; Docker and Cloud
retain exact Git provenance. Checkout and push share HTTPS/SSH
transport. GitHub PR/merge use the provider registry, with maintained
and contributed adapters sharing the delivery contracts. Source
credentials stay with checkout and delivery.

Maintenance

Retain checkpoint filesystem failure details (#1247)

Checkpoint capture and restore tests preserve their I/O error in failed
assertions, exposing the operation and OS error during instrumented CI
failures.
