Installation

Requirements

  • Minecraft 26.2 (Fabric)
  • Fabric Loader 0.16.14+
  • Fabric API
  • Java 25 (the Fabric launcher profile must use a Java 25 runtime)

Steps

  1. Download the latest not-enough-spectators-*.jar from the Releases page.
  2. Drop it into your Fabric mods/ folder (default: %appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows).
  3. Make sure Fabric API is also in mods/.
  4. Launch a 26.2 Fabric profile.

Only the host needs the mod. Spectators join with an ordinary Minecraft client.

Do NOT also install ViaFabric / ViaVersion

This mod bundles and boots ViaVersion itself. Running ViaFabric, ViaFabricPlus, or a standalone ViaVersion/ViaBackwards/ViaRewind mod alongside it will conflict (Via can only initialise once), and the loader is configured to refuse that combination.
