Field Kit 0.1.0.11
Field Kit 0.1.0.11, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
Adds NINA Field Kit → Slew to sky-flat point to the Advanced Sequencer. Based on SkyFlats' null-point instruction, it targets 75° altitude opposite the Sun, calculated at execution using your NINA profile location, then enables tracking after a successful slew. The mount must already be connected and unparked.
Includes the mount-compatibility fix from SkyFlats PR #4: mounts without native Alt/Az slewing use NINA's RA/Dec conversion. Failed slews and failures to enable tracking fail the instruction. Cancellation is passed through to NINA. The instruction uses the standard draggable layout and reports progress in the UI and NINA log.
This instruction positions the mount only; it does not acquire flats or adjust exposures. SkyFlats does not need to be installed. See the usage guide. Imported SkyFlats files retain MPL-2.0 licensing; attribution and license text are included in the package.
Published DLLs are code-signed. Release validation runs the automated tests and real-time default safety-policy acceptance check. Hardware slewing has not been exercised by these tests.
Update Field Kit through https://nina-plugins.psf-guard.com/ and restart NINA.
Field Kit 0.1.0.10
Field Kit 0.1.0.10, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
Safety Monitor Setup now includes an immediate Output override with three choices: Safe, Passthrough, and Unsafe. Use it while adjusting source settings without changing the output sent to NINA. Safe forces a safe output even when sources are unsafe or unavailable; Unsafe forces unsafe; Passthrough uses the current combined source result.
Background polling and recovery tracking continue in every mode. The status line identifies active overrides and the actual source result. Changes are recorded in the NINA log and diagnostic reports.
The override is session-only: closing Setup or saving settings retains it, while disconnecting, changing profiles, suspending/resuming, or restarting resets it to Passthrough. Return to Passthrough when finished adjusting settings.
Published DLLs are code-signed. Release validation includes the automated test suite and the real-time default safety-policy acceptance check.

Field Kit 0.1.0.9
Field Kit 0.1.0.9, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
AF above HFR is now an Advanced Sequencer trigger. Before the next light exposure, it runs autofocus when the latest image or completed autofocus HFR exceeds your chosen absolute limit. It defers when the connected safety monitor reports unsafe or NINA's meridian-flip scheduling check requires it. An autofocus result that remains above the limit fails through NINA's trigger failure handling.
The compact layout follows NINA's built-in HFR trigger, with a draggable title, inline Maximum HFR field, and status on the right. New triggers start blank and require an explicit positive limit; clearing the field disables the trigger. Saved explicit limits are preserved.
Replace the old Autofocus Above HFR sequence instruction with NINA Field Kit → AF above HFR in your imaging container's Triggers. Existing instructions are not automatically converted. See the usage guide for measurement details and setup.
Published DLLs are code-signed. Release validation runs the automated test suite and the real-time default safety-policy acceptance check.

NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.8
NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.8, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
The plugin now appears as Field Kit on NINA's plugin page, including the available-plugin catalog and installed-plugin details. Its description now highlights multi-source Alpaca safety monitoring, background polling, configurable retries, live setup, diagnostics, and the Autofocus Above HFR sequence action.
The plugin identifier, DLL names, installation location, sequence category, saved sequences, and settings remain unchanged. Safety monitoring and autofocus behavior are unchanged.
Published DLLs are code-signed. Validation includes 217 automated tests and the real-time default safety-policy acceptance check.

NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.6
NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.6, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
Adds Autofocus Above HFR to the Advanced Sequencer under NINA Field Kit. Set an absolute Maximum HFR (default 1.7): a latest image or autofocus value at or below the limit skips autofocus; a higher or unavailable value starts autofocus. The instruction fails if the new result remains above the limit or is unusable.
Autofocus comparisons use the fitted HFR reported by the configured provider and require Star HFR mode. The action uses normal NINA filter and autofocus retry settings, supports cancellation, saves its limit with the sequence, and reports decisions in the action status and NINA log. See the usage guide and detailed action guide.
Validation includes 217 automated tests and the real-time default safety-policy acceptance check. Hardware and installed-NINA visual acceptance remain separate operator checks.
Published DLLs are code-signed. The archive includes the DLLs, README, and Apache-2.0 license; the manifest and SHA256SUMS.txt identify the archive. Alpaca requests now identify this release as NINA-Field-Kit/0.1.0.6.

NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.5
NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.5, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
All Alpaca HTTP requests now identify the plugin with User-Agent: NINA-Field-Kit/0.1.0.5, including safety checks and connection requests. The version follows the installed plugin release.
This release also hardens response handling: invalid UTF-8 is rejected, and malformed HTTP body framing is distinguished from temporary connection interruptions. A new fault-server integration suite exercises errors, malformed data, latency, retries, recovery, and connection renewal.
Validation includes 191 automated tests and a real-time test of the default polling, freshness, and recovery policy. Release builds require both checks to pass.
Published DLLs are code-signed. The archive includes the plugin DLLs, README, and Apache-2.0 license. The manifest and SHA256SUMS.txt identify the release archive.
Install or update NINA Field Kit through the plugin source https://nina-plugins.psf-guard.com/, then restart NINA. Open Safety Monitor equipment, select Field Kit Alpaca Safety Monitor, and open Setup. See the usage guide for configuration and safety behavior.
NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.4
NINA Field Kit 0.1.0.4, for NINA 3.2.0.9001 or newer.
This patch replaces provider-specific names, addresses, and setup guidance with generic Alpaca examples. Polling, retry, and safety behavior are unchanged.
- Alpaca safety monitor combining all enabled sources into one NINA safety result.
- Default 30-second background checks, three attempts per check, two tolerated missed checks, and a 90-second safe-evidence age limit.
- Configurable unsafe confirmation and return-to-safe behavior; HTTP connections renewed within 30 minutes.
- ASCOM-compatible response parsing, themed setup, live configuration edits, retry status, and NINA logging/export diagnostics.
Both DLLs are code-signed. The archive contains the DLLs at its root, README, and Apache-2.0 license. The included NINA manifest and SHA256SUMS.txt identify the final signed archive.
Install NINA Field Kit through the plugin source https://nina-plugins.psf-guard.com/, then restart NINA. Open Safety Monitor equipment, select Field Kit Alpaca Safety Monitor, and open Setup. See the usage guide for source setup, retries, and safety behavior.
109 automated tests cover safety state, retries, freshness expiry, live edits, HTTP behavior, plugin composition, and themed dialogs. The plugin reports safety; configure and verify NINA's sequence response separately.
