I have created an app on the Facebook Developer account, where verification was successful. I have also completed the Data Use Checkup, and the app is in live mode and published. However, I am still encountering the following issue:

Feature Unavailable: Facebook login is currently unavailable for this app as we are updating additional details for this app. Please try again later.

Dependencies:
"react-native-fbsdk-next": "^13.1.3"
"react-native": "0.74.3"

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I managed to resolve the issue, although I'm not 100% sure which step exactly did the trick. Here's what I did:

My Facebook app was already verified, in Live Mode, and I had completed the Data Use Checkup.

I was getting the error:
"Feature Unavailable: Facebook login is currently unavailable for this app as we are updating additional details for this app. Please try again later."

I hadn’t run the app in a while, so I decided to do some cleanup:

Deleted the node_modules folder

Reinstalled dependencies using npm install (or yarn install)

After that, I ran the app again and Facebook login started working properly.

So if you're encountering the same issue, try deleting your node_modules folder and reinstalling your packages. It might be a dependency mismatch or a cached configuration issue.

Also make sure:

Your Facebook App ID is correctly added in your native code (AndroidManifest.xml, Info.plist, etc.)
remove and re installed react-native-fbsdk-next again

Hi, I'm currently trying to add facebook and instagram into my application. But I'm stuck in this issue. I don't know if I made things correctly cus Meta wants a successfull test result for me to add permissions and I can't make a test without permission and I'm getting the same result as you. Can you help me?

I ran into the same issue and managed to fix it. Here's what helped me:

Make sure your app is in Live Mode, verified, and the Data Use Checkup is complete.

Delete your node_modules folder and run npm install (or yarn install) again.

Reinstall react-native-fbsdk-next.

Double-check that your Facebook App ID is correctly added in your native code (AndroidManifest.xml, Info.plist, etc.).

Sometimes it's just a cache or dependency issue. Also, for Meta permissions, you might need to submit for review with a working demo or ask Meta support for help with the testing loop.

I managed to fix this by setting public_profile and email authorization back to Standard, then to Advanced again, and I had to submit a Privacy form I never seen before.

i fixed by just simply increase access for public_profile in the use case settings

@awaisyaseenSE Solution: Request App Review and Advanced Access for public_profile and email. After approval, "Feature Unavailable" disappeared and Embedded Signup (including Coexistence) worked for public users.
