The first public release of 1080° Snowboarding: Recompiled, a native Windows port of the N64 game.

To play: download 1080SnowboardingRecompiled-windows-x64.zip, unzip it, run 1080SnowboardingRecompiled.exe, choose Load ROM and pick your own 1080° Snowboarding (USA) .z64 ROM. The ROM is not included.

Included: widescreen, 60 fps by default (120 and the original 30 also available), Maximum draw distance, adjustable field of view, HD board textures, rider shadow and ice reflection fixes, thick boards on board select, and an optional CRT filter. Each one can be switched back to the N64 look on the launcher.

Needs Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a GPU with Vulkan or Direct3D 12.

Linux (experimental): 1080SnowboardingRecompiled-linux-x64.tar.gz. Extract it and run 1080SnowboardingRecompiled.sh. It is new and untested on real machines, and needs a distribution about as new as Ubuntu 24.04, Vulkan drivers, SDL2 and GTK 3.
