@theguysaccount theguysaccount released this 02 Oct 04:08

DNS Pilot adds exact DNS previews, email-record preservation, drift checks, and verification around Namecheap's official MCP.

  • Local Codex package: namecheap-dns-0.2.0.zip, with the bundled four-tool planner and official Namecheap connection. Installed in the author's personal marketplace. Account sign-in is not yet validated.
  • Hosted submission draft: dns-pilot-hosted-0.2.0.zip, using the controlled HTTPS endpoint. This is not ready to submit or connect: Namecheap did not allow our hosted OAuth callback. Hosted sign-in is closed and live writes are disabled.
  • Validation: 26 tests pass, including local MCP transport, exact-record semantics, account isolation, duplicate writes, uncertain outcomes, and registration callback validation. Hosted account tests use fixtures. TypeScript and public page/share-image checks pass.
  • Publication status: website and source are public; the plugin has not been uploaded to, submitted to, or approved by the OpenAI directory. The personal OpenAI organization now shows Identity in review. Provider callback approval, completed identity approval, a review account and a real walkthrough remain required.

No live DNS was modified. SHA-256 files accompany both archives. Full gates and provider request are in docs/public-launch.md and docs/namecheap-integration-request.md.
