What's New

Critical Notifications with TTS at Maximum Priority

Implemented high-urgency critical delivery notifications based on the Home Assistant Companion docs.

iOS (Top Priority)

  • push.sound.critical: 1 - bypasses Do Not Disturb and mute
  • push.sound.volume: 1.0 - maximum volume
  • push.interruption-level: "critical" - highest iOS priority
  • Works on CarPlay's built-in display

Android (Second Priority)

  • ttl: 0 - immediate delivery
  • priority: high - high priority FCM
  • media_stream: alarm_stream_max - TTS at max volume via alarm stream
  • Automatically reverts volume after speaking

Critical Notifications Used For

  • Task ending soon warnings
  • Task overdue alerts
  • Awaiting user input prompts
