Game Development Studio 1.0.1

Game Development Studio is a local-first game asset production, vendoring, visual-debugging, and performance-analysis toolkit for Codex, Claude, and human operators.

This release completes the transition away from the retired MCP entry point. It includes:

  • the game-dev CLI with a stable JSON/JSONL automation contract;
  • durable Tripo and Leonardo job orchestration with explicit spend approval and ceilings;
  • GLB inspection, validation, Blender-backed normalization, canonical asset packages, provenance, and dry-run-first vendoring;
  • sealed visual-debugging captures combining images with telemetry, logs, semantic attachments, comparisons, and bounded optimization goals;
  • five publishable Codex skills, with no MCP server or automatic profile installation;
  • a native macOS 26 companion app source tree and its separately packaged binary-only distribution lane;
  • hardened process cleanup, bounded output handling, exact runtime identity checks, provider credential routing, and full third-party license provenance.

Verification for this checkpoint: 455 TypeScript tests passed (21 explicitly Blender-gated skips), 45 Swift tests passed, clean temporary npm installation and 20-operation CLI smoke verification passed, all five skills and the skills-only plugin passed official validators, and the native release packager passed deterministic-archive and strict extraction verification.

Evidence boundary: fixture tests and local builds do not establish live-provider compatibility, target-engine import, target-GPU pixel correctness, hardware performance, Apple notarization, or human artistic acceptance.
