v1.0.0 — Legacy Foundation (Original Multi-purpose Version)
🕰️ Legacy release of the original mshash project.
This is the first public version of mshash, dating back to its earlier design as a multi-purpose hashing and cracking tool. It supported not only multi-stage hashing and encoding, but also:
- Brute-force hash cracking (with optional thread splitting)
- Caesar cipher encoding/decoding
- Repeated hash iterations
- SHA256, SHA512, MD5
- Wordlist-based attacks
Although the current focus of mshash has shifted to hash encoding only, this release is preserved to acknowledge the original capabilities and structure of the tool.
🔐 Commands previously available:
e = encrypt → encode a string with the specified hash
b = brute-force → crack a hash using a wordlist
d = decode → decode Caesar cipherExample:
python3 mshash.py b sha256 <hash> wordlist.txt 3🧱 This version lays the foundation for all future, simplified versions — focused solely on clean, layered, multi-stage encoding.
