  • Atom template: new Joomla 4, 5 and 6 layouts, so articles, blogs, login, registration, profile, Smart Search, tags, contacts, menus and other modules are styled by Atom instead of plain Joomla markup.

Improve

  • Updating Quix now refreshes your already-published pages, so fixes apply without re-saving each page.
  • Faster pages: the first images start loading straight away, icon pack icons and Google Fonts need fewer requests, and the animation script loads only on pages that animate.
  • Joomla 5 and 6: Quix no longer needs the Behaviour - Backward Compatibility plugin.
  • Atom template: your own Atom layout overrides are kept when you update.

Fix

  • Joomla 6: creating a new page, saving a page, clearing the cache and opening Themes no longer end in an error page.
  • Editor button: choosing a Quix template while editing an article on the front end works again on Joomla 4, 5 and 6.
  • Atom template: menus with third-level items show correctly; items no longer appear in the wrong dropdown.
  • Atom template: Joomla 6 sites using Atom no longer show an error page after installing or updating Quix.
  • Atom template: sidebars now stack below the content on phones.
  • Atom template: the logo, menu, page content, sidebars and footer now line up on the same edges, including on Quix pages.
  • Saving articles or other content from command-line tools no longer fails when Quix is installed.
  • Images: alt text with an apostrophe (We're, haven't) no longer breaks the image or pulls the next element into it.
  • Carousels: Testimonial, Media, Clients and Joomla Articles carousels now start on slow-loading pages.
  • Builder: opens again on sites running some JCE editor versions.
  • Builder: no longer loads an outdated editor after an update on hosts that serve compressed files.
  • Admin: the Options button in Articles, Menus, Users and other components no longer reads "Settings" when Quix is installed.
  • Smart Search: pages indexed from the command line can now be found by their text, not just their title.

Security

  • Joomla Article and Joomla Articles elements now respect article access levels, so visitors only see articles they are allowed to read.
