Astro Dimmer 1.5.1
Astro Dimmer dims your monitors at sunset and brightens them again at sunrise, automatically.
What's new in 1.5.1
- Lighter in the background: while it waits in the tray, Astro Dimmer now uses just a few megabytes. The panel and Settings start when you open them and close away completely afterwards
- Astro Dimmer now uses the same language as Windows' own menus, even if your list of preferred languages says otherwise
- The panel now slides out from behind the taskbar, the same way Quick Settings does
Download
- AstroDimmer-setup-1.5.1.0.exe: for most PCs (Intel and AMD)
- AstroDimmer-setup-ARM64-1.5.1.0.exe: for ARM-based PCs, such as those with a Snapdragon processor
- AstroDimmer-zip-1.5.1.0.zip and AstroDimmer-zip-ARM64-1.5.1.0.zip: to run without installing. Extract the whole zip and run AstroDimmer.exe from the AstroDimmer folder
Installs for your user account, with no administrator password needed. Works on Windows 11, and on Windows 10 from the October 2018 update onwards.
Works with separate monitors that support DDC/CI (most recent ones) and with a laptop's built-in screen. Contrast is for monitors that offer it.
