v1.12.0
Direct BLE is now the default backend, providing an authenticated and verified Bluetooth Mesh control stack for supported Amaran fixtures without requiring Amaran Desktop.
Highlights:
- Verified power, brightness, CCT, 150c G/M and HSI, effects, transitions, batches, groups, scenes, presets, quickshots, fan modes, and manual RPM control.
- Loopback-only web dashboard with live fixture readback, per-model lux estimates, circadian service controls, weather effects, and interactive Kelvin/intensity/sunlight graphs.
- Native mesh groups, mesh inspection, unprovisioned discovery, Device Key import, and complete Desktop quickshot/workspace/effect-preset migration.
- Bounded timeline, audio, image, camera, and microphone lighting programs.
- BLE-first CLI and circadian service, with Desktop-only discovery and firmware updating isolated under
amaran-cli desktop. - Per-fixture automatic CCT clamping so broad schedules cannot block mixed-model updates.
See docs/CHANGELOG.md for the complete release notes.
v1.11.2
What's Changed
- Default command execution now uses WebSocket unless --backend ble is explicitly provided.
- BLE backend connectivity errors now surface a clear, actionable message.
- Fixed npm publish workflow on Node 20 by removing incompatible npm@latest install step.
v1.11.1
What's Changed
- Default command execution now uses the WebSocket backend unless --backend ble is explicitly provided.
- BLE HTTP connectivity failures now show a clear backend-unreachable error instead of raw fetch errors.
- Added regression tests for default backend behavior and BLE fetch-failure messaging.
v1.11.0
Summary
- Added public library entrypoints for the root SDK, device control APIs, circadian scheduling utilities, command registration, and CLI embedding.
- Made
ScheduleMakerusable as a standalone library API without requiring full CLI dependency wiring. - Fixed
cct --get <device>andintensity --get <device>so they target the named device instead of all lights. - Added README library usage examples plus package export and getter-targeting regression tests.
