Files:

• winmm.dll: the mod. The only file you need.
• winmm.dll.sha256: its SHA-256, to check the download.
• build-log.txt: the log of the build that made it.

Check that your download is the real one

The SHA-256 of winmm.dll is:

528436f0c1fcb56e5caff7f6816b8c38ee45d628e3e765dc0307c4b892397309

A SHA-256 is a fingerprint of the file: if a single byte were different, it would be completely different. To see your copy's:

1. Open the folder where you saved winmm.dll.

2. Click the folder's address bar, type powershell and press Enter. A blue (or black) window opens in that folder.

3. Type this and press Enter:

   Get-FileHash .\winmm.dll
   

4. Compare the long line under Hash with the one above. Capitals don't matter. If they're the same, the file is exactly the one built here. If they differ, don't use it: download it again from this page.

Without PowerShell, the Command Prompt does the same with certutil -hashfile winmm.dll SHA256.
