Lots of changes/updates and fixes:
- New Quick Launch feature to search your menu (press
\with menu open) - "Open file" dialogs to open files in accessories (Note, Draw, Markdown)
- Completed implementation of Search in "File Open" to search for files anywhere
- Implemented DOS Fetch for system info in the style of Fastfetch
- Revised screensaver named Defrag, simulates disk defragmentation and the quest for contiguous blocks.
- Markdown gets a Document Map for easy navigation via headings
- All documentation and help info has been moved to the Wiki
- New default font based on Linux console font adapted for DOS CP437
- Fixes to Installer so it actually works and is more robust even on the absolute oldest machines
- Ability to customize install, down to installing only the menu and nothing else!
- Instant line printing/typewriter modes for Calculator and Journal - fantastic for dot matrix printers!
- Improved consistency in UI components and toolbar layout
- Added global shortcuts for Add (CTRL+A), Edit (CTRL+E), Delete (CTRL+D), Print (CTRL+P), Open (CTRL+O), Save (CTRL+S)
- Full-screen modes added where useful to different accessories (press F11)
Important
The installer now enables you to select/deselect all components. With everything un-checked, you will basically just get the !.EXE menu and that's it. No screensavers, fonts, games, accessories or even shortcut key. So you can tailor install completely to your own needs. As a result, the "MIN" release is no longer provided.
