Describe the bug
Seems a regression has caused the user_space_heap_alloc_rejects_null_heap (and other negative tests) to fail in the boot test suite. This was working earlier, so seems to be a regression (faults are no longer correctly trapped by the test harness).
To Reproduce
Build SOF with boot tests enabled.
Reproduction Rate
100%
Expected behavior
Boot tests should pass.
