lattice v1.0.0 — stable documentation & brand release

New to the project? Begin with Start Here. It explains the idea without requiring an engineering background, shows what is real today, and points manufacturers to the right pilot documents.

Highlights

  • Official logo shipped at docs/logo.svg and featured in the README
  • Badge pack with docs, release, license, status, version, category, and pages badges
  • Detailed notes for integrators and diligence readers (CHANGELOG, SUPPORT, SECURITY, CONTRIBUTING)
  • GitHub Pages documentation surface at https://theworker02.github.io/lattice/
  • Stable tag v1.0.0 as the portfolio baseline for this product

What changed in this release

  1. Ensured brand mark and README presentation meet portfolio standards.
  2. Expanded badge strip with explanatory notes table.
  3. Added or refreshed diligence documentation.
  4. Published narrative release notes for the 1.0 documentation line.

Verification

  • README shows the official logo.
  • Badges resolve via shields.io.
  • CHANGELOG.md records the 1.0.0 documentation milestone.
  • This GitHub Release tag is v1.0.0.

Upgrade / checkout

git clone https://github.com/theworker02/lattice.git
cd lattice
git checkout v1.0.0

Subsequent feature tags may advance beyond 1.0.0; this release remains the documented stable baseline for brand and docs completeness.

LATTICE v0.5.0 — MIRRORFIELD

@theworker02 theworker02 released this 14 Sep 02:59

LATTICE v0.5.0 — MIRRORFIELD

MIRRORFIELD is the first public LATTICE release: an experimental physical-computing platform proposal built around a browser-local simulator, a mirrored-scale Signal Cube direction, and a manufacturer-facing engineering package.

LATTICE explores modular sensing, local decision-making, typed signals, energy flow, physical response and a digital Twin that records why a response occurred. This release makes that idea reviewable without claiming that the proposed hardware has been built or validated.

What is usable today

  • Mirrorfield Observatory: a browser-local 4 × 4 simulated array for light collection, energy flow, logic, protection, thermal views and time-travel inspection.
  • Signal Cube routing lab: a cube-shaped local sensor and signal hub simulation with smoothing, thresholds, typed packets, buffering, delivery receipts and export.
  • LATTICE Twin: local topology, module passports, health state, causal signal provenance, retained frames and incident history.
  • Fault center: simulated short, communication and thermal fault drills with latching, recovery guidance and report export.
  • Static GitHub Pages release path: Mirrorfield is deployed from main through GitHub Actions after GitHub Pages is enabled in repository settings. The public portal is designed to work without an account, API, database or backend.

Engineering and manufacturer package

  • Mirrorfield design language, functional-surface zoning, optical research boundaries and SolarSkin trade-space documentation.
  • Signal Cube manufacturing direction: mirrored exterior scales, selected sensor/PV/temperature cassettes beneath those scales, and a protected central electronics core.
  • M1 12-unit pilot outline, RFQ response pack, preliminary BOMs, DVP, traveler, DFM risk register, CAD envelope and technical drawings.
  • Draft LSP and LatticeLink protocol boundaries, module passport schema, power/safety architecture, engineering decision records and prototype roadmap.
  • A clear manufacturer partnership boundary: a future partner must perform detailed engineering, sourcing, tooling, fabrication, testing, quality and applicable certification work.

Status and limits

  • Software: simulated and browser-local.
  • Hardware: concept only. No PCB, coating stack, sensor cassette, power circuit, actuator, connector, enclosure or physical digital Twin is validated by this release.
  • Research values: optical, thermal, energy and geometry figures are hypotheses or simulation parameters unless a source document states otherwise.
  • Release assets: this is a source-and-documentation release. No production binary, fabrication package, measured material data or certified hardware claim is included.

Read STATUS.md, VERIFICATION.md, START_HERE.md and MANUFACTURER_PARTNERSHIP.md before treating this release as a build request.

Verification

  • node --test tests/*.test.mjs — 44 passing browser-local simulation and routing tests.
  • python tools/verify-artifacts.py — local documentation links, schemas and preliminary CAD artifacts checked.
  • node tools/build-github-pages.mjs — GitHub Pages static artifact built successfully.
